Characters from The Black Reef gathered on a dark coast

Film One

The Black Reef

A dark, character-driven pirate adventure.

Story

It begins with a wager.

Three adventurers win a secret treasure map in a card game with a sinister, cloaked Gambler.

His warning follows them: “You won the map. Don’t mistake that for winning the treasure.”

To reach Black Reef, they need a ship and a Captain. She has been there before, and nineteen of her crew never returned. She refuses at first, but still wants answers—and finally agrees to go back.

Their route begins at a dangerous entrance linked to low tide. A small rat travels with them, able to reach places the human characters cannot.
